Wizarding Textbooks, Third Year: Runes, Charms & Dark Arts Defence, Set of 7

Wizarding Textbooks, Third Year: Runes, Charms & Dark Arts Defence, Set of 7

The third-year set of wizarding textbooks is the most advanced shelf of the library: Advanced Rune Translation, the advanced course of ancient studies, Advanced Charm Casting with the Fidelius Charm and patronus theory, Volume 4 of Unfogging the Future, the second part of dark arts defence, the final alchemy volume with the elixir of life and Rita Skeeter's biography. These are the books for readers who want the scholarship, the great protective charms and the secrets of the later story.

Which books would a first-year carry to class? What does the full seven-year curriculum look like on one shelf? And which textbook will you open first?

Fully readable wizarding textbooks — not blank props

Every book is printed from cover to cover with original illustrated content. No blank or lined journal pages: each volume is a real book to read, not a notebook with a decorated cover.

Wizarding textbooks for advanced readers

Choose the third year if you love demanding reading and the scholarly side of magic: runes, ancient studies, advanced charms and alchemy. It completes the library after the first and second year, and with seven books it includes our full gift of prints and magazines.

Why choose the wizarding textbooks instead of single books

A set brings the books together in one parcel, with matching A5 hardcovers that line up neatly on the shelf, and it costs less than buying the same 7 books one by one. It also comes with a bigger gift: 9 fan art prints and 3 fan art wizarding magazines. And because every volume is fully readable, the set is a real reading programme — you can follow the subjects in order, one book after another, the way a student would.

Handmade wizarding textbooks: how the books are made

Every book in this set is printed and bound by hand. All 7 volumes share the same A5 format (5.8 × 8.3 in / 14.8 × 21 cm), so they line up neatly on a shelf; each has a full colour hardcover and a thread-sewn binding that lets it open completely flat. The pages are printed on coated 115 g/m² paper with black and white illustrations.
